Amidst all the disasters, this show is a real tonic

Editor:

Recently I attended a performance of 'Amazing Gracie' starring singers/actors Pamela Campbell and Nancy Beck, and pianist, Andrew Zinck. This trio draws from the best of Gracie Fields' repertoire to weave an evening of wonderful entertainment. This is one of the funniest shows I've seen in years. It's lively, fast-moving, and witty, and the costumes and props add to the hilarity. It is a treat to see these three professional Islanders work so well as a team. The show just flows and the audience is laughing one minute and crying the next.

At these times when the news is frequently burdened with disasters and problems, it is like a tonic to spend an evening being entertained with humour and comedy of such high caliber.
